"Nick Griffin and Andrew Brons have won seats in the European Parliament - but they do not represent Britain.
Sign our petition and help show what Britain thinks of the BNP - we'll be handing our petition to the European Parliament on the day Griffin and Brons take their seats. Join the campaign, upload a photo of yourself holding a sign saying "Not in my name" and then share this petition with your friends. Let's send a deafening message of defiance: NOT IN OUR NAME."

These days I can mostly be found on Twitter, mainly because it lets me update with the random crap that goes through my head from my phone.

10:25 am - Long Day
|
The boss is playing the new Green Day album on repeat, and my best friend in the office Tom isn't here. Days without Tom in the office remind me of when I worked at the Tape Gallery when either me or Richard went on holiday or had a day off, when we got back there was always a sense of everything is ok now you're back.
I love my job, but the people here really are the added bonus. Sam went a bit mental yesterday, and I love it when he does that. He goes all controversial and doesn't give a shit. Abby is the closest girl to my age in the office, and she's sensible, clever, and very very good at her job. Tom is the funniest person I've met since I met Nick Locking, which says huge amounts for Tom. I can't remember how the office used to be before he started working here.
One other thing that's weird is that we all socialise together, I've never really had a job where that happens before. I used to go out with Richard a lot, and I still see him, but we were friends before we worked together. This is the first time I've had a job where I genuinely like the people I work with, enough even for them to be actual friends as opposed to workmates.
Tomorrow and Thursday I've got the day off because I'm going up to Liverpool for one of our events, Liverpool SoundCity. Clinic are playing in an old autopsy theatre which should be amazing, because they never play.
If you don't know Clinic, try their 'Walking With Thee' album.

The Wild Rose Random Brutal Love Dreamer (RBLD) Colorful, but unpicked. You are The Wild Rose. Prone to bouts of cynicism, sarcasm, and thorns, you excite a certain kind of man. Hoping to gather you up, he flirts and winks and asks you out, ultimately professing his love. Then you make him bleed. Why? Because you're the rare, independent, self-sufficient kind of woman who does want love, but not from a weakling. You don't seem to take yourself too seriously, and that's refreshing. You aren't uptight; you don't over-plan. Romance-wise, sex isn't a top priority--a true relationship would be preferable. For your age, you haven't had a lot of bonafide love experience, though, and this kind of gets to core of the issue. You're very selective. The problem is them, not you, right? You have lofty standards that few measure up to. You're out there all right, but not to be picked up by just anyone. 5:50 pm - Cinema
|
I'm off to try the cinema up the road at Staples Corner. I found out they do an offer where you can go to as many films as you like for £11.99 a month. Seeing as it's the best part of 8 quid to see one film, this might be worth doing. I've never been to this particular cinema before though, and this fantastic offer may well be explained if the place itself is a complete dump.
So, in the name of research, I'm off to see Iron Man.
